The Intention Sphere is Soul Journey’s ceremonial interpretation of the Japanese art of Dorodango—a practice where humble earth is patiently shaped, refined, and polished until it becomes a luminous sphere.
At Soul Journey, this ancient form becomes something more: a meditation companion, an energetic anchor, and a living prayer created specifically for the person who commissions it.
Each sphere is handcrafted over a six-week ceremonial process guided by Pepper Wooten and Steve Wooten, weaving together sacred materials gathered during their travels and daily moments of focused intention.
What Makes a Soul Journey Intention Sphere Unique
Every Intention Sphere contains elements gathered from the journeys and rituals of Soul Journey.
The earth itself is collected by Steve and Pepper from meaningful locations encountered during their travels. Each sphere therefore carries fragments of landscapes, places, and experiences that span continents and sacred sites.
The water used in its formation comes from sources that have been intentionally gathered and blessed, including:
• Waterfall waters from the Carolinas
• Moon-charged water prepared during lunar cycles
• Sacred water from Lake Titicaca
• Ocean water gathered along the coast
• Water from the Indian River Lagoon
Within the mixture are also the ashes of sacred incense burned during Soul Journey ceremonies. These ashes come from blends used in blessings for:
• Health
• Prosperity
• Clarity
• A life lived in alignment and fulfillment
The result is an object that carries both physical elements and ceremonial memory.
A Six-Week Creation Ritual
Each sphere is made only by commission.
Once requested, the process unfolds over approximately six weeks as the earth is shaped, dried, layered, polished, and refined repeatedly until the sphere becomes smooth and luminous.
During this time, daily prayer and intentional focus are offered specifically for the person who commissioned it.
This period becomes a slow gestation—where the physical sphere and the energetic relationship with its future guardian grow together.
Because of this ceremonial timeline, each Intention Sphere is completely unique and cannot be rushed.
Optional Customizations
Some commissions may include special elements within the sphere’s core.
Depending on the request, your Intention Sphere may include:
• A crystal or sacred stone core chosen for resonance
• A rattle core that creates a subtle sound when shaken—symbolizing the blessings held within• A specific intention focus held throughout the six-week creation cycle
These options can be discussed during the commissioning process.
Distance Reiki Connection
Each Intention Sphere is also connected through Reiki.
Because Steve and Pepper work with distance energy practices, the sphere becomes a symbolic anchor for continued energetic connection. As part of its creation, it is linked to:
• The energetic field of Soul Journey
• The community of Intention Spheres already in existence
• Pepper’s personal meditation practice
Both Steve and Pepper meditate daily with their own spheres. During those moments, the blessing offered through their practice extends outward—like a quiet signal—touching the spheres that have been created for others.
In this way, your Intention Sphere becomes a lifeline to peace whenever you choose to hold it.

Commissioning Your Sphere
Each Intention Sphere is made individually and in sequence.
Because of the six-week ceremonial process, only a limited number can be created at any given time.
Once your commission is received, we will contact you to confirm any custom elements and begin the creation cycle.
When completed, your Intention Sphere will be carefully packaged and sent to you as a physical artifact of intention, devotion, and presence.
