What types of massage do you offer?
At Soul Journey, we offer a variety of massage therapies tailored to your needs. Our options include, but are not limited to, Swedish massage for relaxation, deep tissue massage for muscle tension relief, Thai massage for increased mobility and flexibility, and lymphatic drainage massage for relief from bloating and swelling. Each session can be customized based on your preferences and areas of focus.

Meditation is a powerful tool for reducing stress, enhancing self-awareness, and promoting emotional well-being. At Soul Journey, we guide you through different meditation techniques, helping you find the practice that resonates most with you, whether it’s silent mindfulness, guided visualization, or a full Shamanic soul journey.

What is energy work, and how does it work?
Energy work focuses on balancing the body’s subtle energy systems to promote healing, relaxation, and overall well-being. It operates on the understanding that physical, emotional, and spiritual health are interconnected through energy flows within and around the body. Practitioners use techniques like Shamanic healing, chakra alignment, sound bowls, meditation, or breathwork to release blockages, restore harmony, and enhance energy flow. By working with these energetic patterns, energy work helps clear emotional stress, promote relaxation, and support the body’s natural ability to heal. Sessions are often calming and insightful, helping clients reconnect with themselves on a deeper level.

What is Thai massage, and what can I expect?
Thai massage is a unique form of bodywork that combines acupressure, yoga-like stretching, and gentle rocking to promote relaxation and balance. During your session, you will lie on a comfortable mat, allowing for a full range of motion. The practitioner will use their hands, elbows, knees, and feet to apply pressure and assist you in gentle stretches, facilitating the release of tension and enhancing flexibility. Due to the nature of the stretching, we ask all participants to wear workout style stretchable clothing.

What is reflexology, and what can I expect?
Reflexology is a therapeutic practice that involves applying pressure to specific points on the feet, hands, or ears, which correspond to different organs and systems in the body. During your session, you will relax in a comfortable chair or on a massage table while our trained reflexologist gently applies pressure using their thumbs and fingers. This process aims to stimulate the body's natural healing mechanisms and promote overall well-being.

Do you see clients with special health concerns?
At Soul Journey, we are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all clients, including those with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), chronic pain and fatigue/Fibromyalgia, sports injuries, anxiety, obesity, or diabetes. We modify our techniques and approaches to ensure comfort and effectiveness. We take the time to understand your unique needs and may suggest specific treatments or adjustments to enhance your experience. We are also ADA compliant with an elevator to our space.

Can caregivers/others attend sessions with clients?
Yes, at Soul Journey, we understand that some clients may feel more comfortable and supported when a caregiver/friend is present during their session. If you would like someone to accompany you, we encourage you to bring them along. Their presence can provide reassurance and help facilitate communication about your needs and preferences during the session or they can sit comfortably in our waiting area. The choice is up to the client. However, we do not have a space for children during sessions, and ask they not attend with you unless they are old enough to entertain themselves quietly while alone.

What can I expect during a deep relaxation session?
During a deep relaxation session at Soul Journey, you’ll be guided through techniques designed to calm your nervous system and promote a state of profound relaxation. This may include restorative yoga, breathing exercises, meditation, and sound therapy. Many clients report feeling a deep sense of peace and rejuvenation after their session.

What should I wear for my appointment?
For most sessions, we recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing that allows for movement. If you have specific preferences or needs, please let us know, and we can accommodate you accordingly.

Do I need to bring anything to my appointment?
We provide all necessary supplies for your session, including mats, blankets, and any other tools needed for relaxation or meditation. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and bringing a water bottle to stay hydrated before and after your session.

What are your scheduling and payment options?
Our sessions typically range from 60 to 120 minutes, depending on the service you choose. We require booking in advance to secure your preferred time, especially for popular services. You can easily schedule your appointment by contacting us directly at 321-430-0911. We require all clients to keep a credit card on file, but we will gladly allow you to pay with cash, Zelle, Venmo, or PayPal at the time of service.

24-Hour Cancellation Notice for 60, 90, and 120 min services is required: Cancel/reschedule at least 24 hours in advance or pay the full service fee of the scheduled appointment.
